Professor Andrew McLachlan
AM, PhD
Professor Andrew McLachlan is a leading Australian pharmacist, academic and researcher with experience in clinical pharmacology and the quality use of medicines. He is Head of School and Dean at the Sydney Pharmacy School, The University of Sydney.
Professor McLachlan is the former chair of a human research ethics committee and serves on Australian government committees related to medicines policy, evaluation, regulation and anti-doping.
Professor Ian Olver
AM, MD, PhD
Professor Ian Olver is a Professorial Research Fellow in the School of Psychology, Faculty of Health and Medical Science at the University of Adelaide, with research focusing on supportive care in cancer and psycho-oncology. Professor Olver was previously CEO of Cancer Council Australia and Clinical Director of the Royal Adelaide Hospital Cancer Centre.
He is immediate past-President of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer and served on the Australian Health Ethics Committee of the NHMRC for 9 years. He has published more than 300 journal articles, 28 book chapters, authored 4 books and edited 5 books.
Associate Professor Arman Sabet
MD
Associate Professor Arman Sabet is a consultant neurologist with fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology and neuromuscular disorders. He is Head of the Department of Neurology at Gold Coast University hospital and a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology.
He has many years of experience in clinical trials and research in neurosciences as well as a busy clinical practice in Queensland, where he is also involved in educational activities at Griffith University School of Medicine.
